When drivers first see Race Readiness on their dashboard, the reaction is usually the same: 'What is this, and why do I need it?' By the time they've been through their first clearance, the question has become: 'How do I get to the next tier?'
Race Readiness exists because The Paddock is built on a simple belief: talent isn't enough. The drivers who reach the top of any racing ladder — real or simulated — aren't just the fastest. They're the most prepared. They show up ready to race. Race Readiness is how we measure and reward that.
THE FOUR DIMENSIONS
Your Race Readiness score is built from four dimensions: Mental, Physical, Focus, and Consistency. Each measures something different. Mental captures your ability to make good decisions under pressure and learn from races. Physical reflects your sim endurance and reaction time over extended sessions. Focus tracks your lap-to-lap concentration. Consistency measures your clean racing record — incidents, DNFs, and how often you finish where your pace says you should.

WHAT CLEARANCE MEANS
Being cleared isn't a one-time achievement. It's a status you maintain. Basic clearance — the entry level — requires a completed stint, clean race history, and an active license. It's the floor for Foundation Series and Regional GT entry. The higher you go, the more demanding the requirements become.
Standard clearance requires three completed stints and a Safety Rating of 3.0 or above. Strict clearance — required for Premier GT and National Prototype — requires five stints, A 4.0 license, and consistency rating above eighty percent. Elite clearance, which gates the Invitational Finals and Major Events, requires an invite and a spotless recent record. It cannot be earned — only merited.
WHY IT WILL BECOME MANDATORY
Season Zero has Race Readiness as a strongly encouraged system. But as The Paddock scales and competition intensifies, clearance will become a hard gate for series entry. You cannot register for Premier GT without Strict clearance. The Invitational Finals will require Elite tier with no exceptions.
The drivers who treat Race Readiness as box-ticking are missing the point. The drivers who build it into their preparation routine are the ones who will be ready when it matters.
